pick up change if you saw it on the street, floor, laying around, etc. I guess it depends. I would if I felt like it, but most of the time I just let it go by me.

I always pick up change when I see it, unless it's out in the middle of a street or something.

See a penny, pick it up, all the day you'll have good luck!

Yep! I always pick up money. Shoot, even if its only a change I grab it. Money is money. My kids love to find money, seems like one of my girls always finds money on the floor when we are out and about.

I also have a policy to never spend change. When I get change, it goes in my pocket, and at the end of the day it goes in the change jar. I generally cash out ~$300-$400 in change every time we go on vacation. "Free" spending money. :)

Always pick it up and if it's "heads down" I turn it over, then pick it up :D

Me too gtalum. :D And it always goes on vacation with us. Before kids we could go alone with just our change. Been to the Keys 2 times with change alone. Have about $200 sitting now and the jar is on its way to being full again. :D

When my kids were littler, I got in the habit of dropping a penny every so often where I knew they would find it - often on our own sidewalk LOL - I loved how excited they got when they found it, and the production of putting it in the piggy bank! Still do it once in awhile for my daughter (6); my 13 year old son was thrilled when he found a $20 bill last summer, no way a penny is gonna get him excited any more!

I dropped a penny in Seattle once. Some dude chased me two blocks to give it back to me.

I had known I'd dropped it and didn't really care but apparently this guy did.

I pick up every penny or nickel I find, it goes itno my Christmas fund! The means more money to spend. This year I will have to divide it between family members and 2 grandsons! Can't wait to see youngest grandson's face on Christmas this year!

That's a seriously good idea but, when we run out of money we usually hit up the change jar. I think maybe i'll buy a change jar where I can't get in it very easily.
