With a 2-hour episode starting at 9pm ET/PT, 8pm Central on CBS. It will air Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT, 9pm Central starting next week. It's going back to the normal format of two-person teams and looks awesome(I hated the family edition).

If anyone cares, it's moving to Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT effective IMMEDIATELY!!!

Horrible ratings for the show in the timeslot plus the horrible ratings for Out of Practice and Courting Alex have prompted the move.

Season 10 starts tonight with a 90-minute premiere at 8:30pm ET/PT. It'll air(hopefully) Sundays at 8 but football overruns in future weeks could screw that up.

Last season was my favorite. It does seem to get better every season. I even liked the family teams. It's the smartest and best of the "reality" shows by far.

Have these people NEVER been to an airport?! Since when does "Rental Car Return" mean Airport Parking?

Diverse group this year.

Last team was eliminated, one of the new surprises.

Yeah, and another will be eliminated at the end of the show. I figured it would happen sooner or later...

Notice the detour I would have picked.
I'm not getting up that wall, I'm done tonight if I was there.

Yeah...

OK, I don't like Peter and Sarah or the two black women. They'll never make it up that wall either. The two gay guys annoy.

OK ratings, not spectacular. Likely will be lower next week though with ABC having it's premieres(I think the Football Overruns are going to be a huge problem for it as well).

NBC moved into the lead at 8 p.m. as "Sunday Night Football" (including few minutes of pre-game talk) posted a 10.0/16. CBS dropped to second with the second half of "60 Minutes," 8.7/14, and the premiere of "The Amazing Race," 6.4/10. The start of a two-hour "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" posted a 5.9/9 for ABC. FOX stayed in fourth with "The Simpsons," 5.2/8, and "American Dad," 4.7/7. "Buffy" continued on The WB.

At 9 p.m., NBC's NFL game between Washington and Dallas improved to 11.7/18. "EM: Home Edition" moved ABC into second with a 7.2/11. "The Amazing Race," 6.3/9, was third for CBS, beating out "Family Guy," 5.5/9, and "The War at Home," 4.1/6. The WB ended its 11-year run by showing the pilot of "Dawson's Creek."

CBS is runing a perfectly good show by moving it all over the schedule.

My understanding is that The Amazing Race is mostly owned by Bruckheimer Television, et al., and that they are shopping for a new network. I've heard that NBC is dying for the show the officially be for sale.

Hmmm, that's very interesting.

I think the Family Edition was what hurt it the most. Season 7, the one with Rob and Amber right before it was the highest-rated season so far, and then they went and messed up the format. Lots of viewers tuned that out and didn't come back(I tuned it out but came back).
