Did anyone watch the first half on Sunday night? The conclusion is tonight.
Any thoughts or opinions???? I just can't believe they cannot find the murderer of that precious child. This is a case gone cold.

I guess I got wrapped up in the excitement of Bill and trying to get my horses to higher ground. What time does the conclusion start?

The name of this Jon Benet Ramsey movie is called "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town." Based on the book by Lawrence Schiller.

It premiered on CBS back in 2000.

It's one of two JBR that were done in 2000. I remember seeing the first one also. This one played about about the same way (considering it was based on investigator and witness testimony) as the first one -- only with a different cast of characters and this one was a two-parter.

IMO, the mom did it, if everything they showed in the movie was reenacted to detail. Before they disovered her body, the dad was too preoccupied with it being a kidnapping -- waiting on the phone to ring (ransom call), pacing, other things like that. The mom was spaced out, mumbling, and rocking back and forth.

I think the mom got mad at JB for wetting her bed, got abusive with her in the bathroom, hit JB too hard, JB fell against the sink, and sustained the fatal blow to the head. Then Patsy had to stage the body to make it look like a bondage/murder (no clue where she would have gotten the idea, but that was in her head from something she'd seen just prior -- movie, book, news story?). Heck, even an amateur could see that the ransom note writing and her own writing are similar.

I just think it's sad that the killer hasn't been brought to justice.

You know to this day, I haven't told my girls she is gone. I guess it happened so long ago and they were quite young then. Laura would always say as she saw Jon Benet's picture in the many magazine covers, how pretty she is/was. I would change the subject. When I told them of Elizabeth Smart's kidnapping last year, Nina was afraid to sleep with her door closed. She would want it open, in case anyone came in thru her window.

I cannot believe either in this day and age, we haven't found her killer. That is almost too hard to bear.

And finally, I know the parents have been cleared, and I'm sorry out there to anyone who believes 100% they are innocent, I've had nagging doubts about them from day one. The way her mother pushed her into modeling, how Jon Benet has never appeared to me to be a happy, young child, but rather the picture of an almost 16 year old (from a hair/makeup standpoint) has saddened me. Kids should be just that - kids.

Sorry, might have said too much.

It just knaws at me that the killer hasn't been found. Det. Steve Thomas is convinced that Patsy Ramsey killed her dtr. I sam them on Larry King Live awhile back and he pointed his finger in her face and said, "you know you killed your daughter." And she said, "don't even go there."
I would give anything for the truth to come out, but I am very much afraid this case has gone cold.
