There are a lot of great dessert items available to feed your sweet tooth....but what is your favorite?
My favorite has to be "home made" banana pudding (the way my mom used to make it...and the way Granny and Becky make it now); followed closely by Dairy Queen hot fudge sundaes.
How about you?

Oh my goodness... this is hard to narrow down.
I really like bread pudding so much!

I never thought it would be surpassed as my favorite dessert until my grandmother got a recipe from a friend about a coconut cake. I don't know the exact name of it, but it is sooo rich. Yummy!

I used to have a coconut turnover when living in Hawaii that was absolutely remarkable. I have not been abled to find them that good since. Although i have tried to re-create them and I must say, they turned out pretty well.
But anyway, thankls alot perry for reminding me of this. Now i am going to have to make them again.
of the desserts i have now, my wife's chocolate chip cookies are the world's best..(I know some of you may want to dispute that)

Only one on my list that is my favorite.
Red cake with white buttercream frosting. Only one person in the world I know who can make it right, and she's 1800 miles away.
Last time I had it was for my son's wedding reception in Schaumburg IL almost 4 years ago. The lady who bakes it charged me $12. I gave her $40. That's how good it is!!!
Believe it or not it has chocolate and mayonnaise in it!!!

Sahara, with the Kalahari coming in a close second.
Oh, you mean after-dinner food. Well, I'd have to say vanilla ice cream, although I rarely eat dessert.

For me it has to be a slice of pound cake with some strawberries and whipped cream on top.
Other faves are most anything Ben and Jerry make, banana pudding with nilla wafers, german chocolate brownies (my recipe) or chocolate cake.
OK, yall made me hungry for dessert now. Guess I'll have to suffer with some watermelon.

All time favorite - Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream mixed with milk to where the ice cream forms little ice crystals.
My next favorite is "Death by Chocolate". It's a layered dessert of crumbled chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, crumbled skor bars, toasted almonds and repeat all those layers again! Ahhhh Heaven!

My favorite desserts are ice cream cakes and pound cake; I eat "regular cake- with frosting" sometimes, but I wouldn't consider it my favorite.

I haven't had either one in awhile. Will hopefully have one or the other or both soon and more often.
I prefer the ice cream cake with the "chocolate crumbly" inside.

Never thought of ice cream when I first saw this topic! My first choice was homemade apple pie, warm from the oven. Well, you can have ice cream with it!!!
We have a local company that's been in business over 100 years, called Graeter's. They make a to die for black raspberry chip ice cream that is just so good. The chips are large chunks of chocolate, not tiny chips. The size of half dollars sometimes. I gave 2 pints to my next door neighbor once for french braiding my daughter's hair (for a dance recital), she's a hair dresser. Later she said - now I've been living here for over 20 years now, why haven't I tasted that flavor before? She said now it's her favorite flavor. So that's my second choice.
If any of you ever breeze thru Cincy, look for a Graeter's, then order Black Raspberry Chip ice cream. You will not be sorry!
