Does housework ever end. I am a stay at home wife with no children. Just John and me. Every morning I have the same things to do all over again. I can keep busy all day just getting stuff done. Staying at the computer does not help. I remember working, having kids and doing it all. But, even now, I find I am busiy around the house all the time. But, I also care less how the house looks

i'm still trying to figure out where all the dust comes from! i dust and vacuum every other day and it just keeps coming back. the filters in our system are changed every month and the seals on our doors and windows are intact.

Apparently so!

To me dusting is removing the dust from a certain surface.....apparently the dust is not properly removed unless pledge is used.

This led to a full on ban from housework!

Well, we have a 10 room house with 11 ceiling fans. The long sunporch has 3. I had the same problem. Once I stopped using them, the dust disappeared. I think the fans just circulate dust everywhere. We leave our air conditioning on 24/7 all year long, so I don't really need them anyway They were here when we bought the house, just replaced some. The previous owners kept their windows open all the time, so they used them a lot.

lucky you. i'm not allowed to use pledge since the gal at Ethan Allen said it's bad for the wood. that's where we bought all of our furniture, so no pledge. you're more than welcome to dust my house....

I may be overplaying my sadness at not being allowed to help.....

and thanks for the note on the ceiling fans. i think i'll keep ours off for a couple of weeks and see if there's a noticeable difference in quantities of dust.

OH....and I do 95% of the cooking too, now when it come to doing DISHES.......well let's just say, I clear the table and sit down
