Yeah I heard, I do have some concerns with the one of the questions answered Yes, because of the word directly in the question. Life in prison without parole would work for me in this case.

Frankly, I find some of the stuff he said on the stand in the sentencing hearing - particularly the bit about the shoe bomber (Richard Reed?) having been assigned as his assistant to hijack a plane and hit the WH (and who were the others, anyway, each plane had 4 or 5 hijackers) ... pretty implausible. I think he's trying to puff himself up into more than he was.
But what the heck ... if he wants to get the death sentence, who am I to say no?

true...i am usually for it (death penaly---all politics aside)
my reason for bringing it up now is that it would accomplish what he wanted all along which is to become a martyr. i say life without parole and let the "hardened criminals" in our justice system take care of the problem rather than the state.

That was him yes.
The death penalty is the easy way out for him but if those are your rules then I guess it is his fault.

I say we put him in general population here in the US and let our prison system give him his justice like they did Dahmner. Death is too easy for him.

He's being given the death penalty for a botched suicide mission?
Wait a second....

Well, actually he hasn't been sentenced yet.

What this hearing did was determine that he's
eligible for the death penalty, because the jury determined that he told lies to the FBI which contributed materially to advancing the 9/11 plot.
