Bandwidth Speed Test

As I mentioned in another thread recently, I may be switching to DSL from RoadRunner Cable because it's cheaper and possibly, just as fast.

If you have DSL or Cable, and don't mind posting your results, please do so. Be sure to say whether you have DSL or Cable though. :)

I am a wee bit slower than you, but about the same. And I also have RR cable. I am curious to see others who have DSL. I am not so sure it will be as fast, I know it is suppost to be close, but who knows.

i would never have imagined it, but the results said the speed was too fast for an accurate result.

our network people have some explaining to do about why things appear to run so slowly around here!!

Well its over 80% of what i've paid for which is 3000/784 mb

This speed test, however, this is one is a better one...

Not only does it measure download speed, but also it measures upload speed.

Download Speed: 4828 kbps (603.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 356 kbps (44.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

You can tell I live in the boonies :lol: and this is at work with my DSL connection - I will try it with my dial up at home later :roll:
