Your Absolute Worse

When you were still in school and lived at home, what was the worse punishment you received from your parents.
Me... I got grounded for a week once. They did not do much in the punishment line. We had rules and we followed them. We knew when our parents told us something, we did it. We were afraid of our father, but he never laid a hand on us. Tough love. I remember in high school, we loved to scoop the loop downtown in our car My father said I was not allowed to go down there and if I did, I might see him parked on the street looking for me. I knew my father meant what he said. We had a great life at home, my parents just wanted us to do what they said and once we were on our own, we could do as we pleased. There tough love never hurt us in any way.

My parents had just bought me a really pretty bedroom set, that French Provincial stuff that's white with gold trim. It had a canopy bed. I was jumping on the mattress and bounced up through the canopy and basically trashed it. They told me to stay in the bathroom until they could decide on a suitable punishment. I took a bath, but left the water running. Locked the door and crawled out the bathroom window.
My mom took one of those fly swatters that had the plastic swatter part but the handle was metal. She smacked me with that thing until the plastic part came off and only the metal was left. i recall a couple of cuts and welts from getting whacked with the metal part. and i didnt cry. that made her really mad. but she never spanked me again after that. ( i really did deserve it though.)

Yes, and we would NEVER consider turning our parents in for spanking us.

NEVER! basically because my parents said that "they" would take us away for being ungrateful and put us in an orphanage or a children's home. No dollhouses, no barbies, no paper dolls or baby dolls. Just scrubbing floors and washing windows.

My worse punishment was not getting to go out and do stuff. First of all, my dad was SUPER strict. That is the way he was raised by my grandfather. My grandfather (I rarely see him even though he lives only 2 hours away in MS) He was abused my grandmother very badly and treated my dad the same way growing up. And it rubbed off on the way he raised me. My dad raised me very strict and was very lenient on my brother who is 2 years younger than me. I was hardly allowed to anything with friends all throughout high school. I had to beg and beg to be allowed to do anything. But, my dad worked offshore and was only home every other week. So, I got away with more stuff with my mom and basically went wild when he was not home. With him being so strict, I rebelled more and more behind his back. My dad has a very bad temper to this day. And the least little thing sets him off. My dad used to fly off the handle all the time and I used to get spanked really badly with a belt. With the earliest memory of it being 3 years old. Sometimes I deserved it but at the age of 3, I think it was a bit much. He would spank really hard sometimes breaking his belt. It would leave welts. Once my dad tried spanking me with a belt, and I ran from him. He kept swinging it but never could catch me. He ended up busting all his finger up with the belt and was bleeding all over. My brother rarely ever got spanked.

Worse = comparative
Worst = superlative
The worst punishment I got was being grounded for a month after being caught trespassing at the local university's football stadium.

Breaking curfew was something my parents didnt tolerate. Once I was grounded for a week for coming home 15 minutes late. I remember also getting grounded for a month for skipping school. Talking back was a BIG no no..only did that once lol

Don't I know it. The day I talked back to my parents especially my dad, I got my nose busted. To this day, even though I still live at home due to financial difficulties, I am still afraid of my dad. He does not hit me anymore since I was in my teens, but he still has a very bad temper. One minute he is the nicest person and we get along fine. But, you never know when his temper will fly for the least little thing. I am afraid to go to him for anything because of his temper.

I'm not even going to say anything cause I can not pin-point which was worse. I have done a bunch of things when I was a kid and got punished quite a few times.

The worst punishment was simply a "look" from my papa for being rude to him. I started crying like crazy.
