Yes, the pressure in Washington has to be horrible on a daily basis. I am sure we will see more moves. He is young and I am sure he has lots of offers with less stress and more money. Just having to deal with the press core every day has to be a complete zoo. He knows every time he opens his mouth, he will be challenged.

I am going to try to keep this from sounding political because it isn't (just an observation), but I found him to be somewhat harsh and abrasive... too often on the defensive. I felt that Bush's first press secretary Ari Fleischer was much more adept at handling the brutal Washington media.

I am sure all press secretaries get burnt out and defensive towards the end. I know I would.

Sometimes I feel the same about the president. He often sounds like he is on the defensive.

Some in the industry have dubbed him "Tony S. NOW"...he's not likely to take abuse from the press corps.

I hope so. My biggest problem with Scott McClellan was how he let those reporters walk all over him.
