My sis and her husband are leaving for Florida tomorrow for a week to look for a nice retirement community. They like boating, golf, everything. They want the Orlando area. I saw the Villages advertised on TV and I told them to check them out. Do you know of any other nice communities with lots to do. They are afraid of hurricanes, so they want the Orlando area.

No I wish I could help you. I do know The Villages is a very popular palce for folks in their retirments. Here is a good link about it.

Also here is a forum for The Villages, there is a thread titled Life at The Villages and has some good info in there as well.

Thanks, I gave them the information to take with them. They said they will go check it out... looks real nice. Of course, there could be other nice places too. They are very active, travel a lot, so want some place real fun.

Yes, and I noticed that the living accomodations vary to everyones price range, so it is affordable to everyone.
