Hardships

Gasoline is getting higher, but it is not causing my family hardship. We have one car and it is a compact, so we don't spend what others do.

What is one thing that is causing your family a hardship?

I guess the cost of food for us. We rarely go out, so we spend a lot of money on good food to cook at home and the meat and produce prices are really getting high for quality.

Gas is rediculous, I have 3 vehicles to fill up. One I only drive on weekends, my daily driver and my wife's.

I don't have any hardships - just challenges, annoyances, setbacks, vexations, dilemmas, predicaments, quandaries, trouble, inconveniences, situations, hindrances, snags, obstacles, conundrums, pickles, and occasional imbroglios.

Also, I have regular contact with pains in the arse, moochers, leeches, users, beggers, scoundrels, scalawags, rascals, rogues, gossips, busybodies, troublemakers, delinquents, and ne'r-do-wells. But I don't have any hardships though.

Gasoline is becoming a bit of a hardship for me. I drive round trip about 100 miles a day. My CR-V, fortunately, gets 25 miles to the gallon, but that's 4 gallons a day. I'm starting to take some long weekends to use up my vacation days AND save gas.

Im a pizza delivery driver and the price of gas is killing me. Whats more tips have fallen off probably due to customers spending more for gas. Worse yet a lot of stations here are OUT.

Homemade leftovers that I take to school daily are a million times better then the junk they sell at school.

I can only imagine. I try to pay cash because I don't want to load my credit card up but...

I use my credit card to keep up with how much I spend a month. It is easier (for me anyway) than those paper receipts. I just stuff them in my purse and throw them away by accident.

Well my round trip is about 80 miles. Needless to say, it's taking a toll. My turnpike tolls have also gone up significantly. No one in our company has gotten a raise in three years either!!!!! Can you say PB&J sandwiches for lunch????
