If you found yourself single, would you be afraid to try an internet dating service to meet someone?

Probably...I am a guy but for all I know chatting/meeting someone on the net it might be a lonely old man that I think is a 24 year old blonde...

I don't trust internet dating, because it can sometimes put me with the wrong person.

I'm done dating, even if God forbid something happened to my husband. That may sound odd but two husbands in one lifetime is more than enough for me! I would not trust internet dating services. I think I'd be very happy all alone, which sounds odd again. I am happily married but there are true nuts out there. I'm just glad I found a good one.

I would not look again if I found myself single. No way.

I'm not Elizabeth Taylor - I don't collect husbands! LOL

But that's just me - I'm kinda odd and not always trustful at times.

Mary, I feel pretty much as you do. I've really loved two men in my life. One is my ex-husband and still my very good friend since we have two daughters together. We made a vow that we would do our best to raise our daughters with love and respect and we are continuing to do that even with our grandchildren. The other love in my life died suddenly a few years ago and part of me died with him. I am however a very independent person and like being with me. I'm kinda fun to hang out with. lol I don't now nor do I plan on seeking out another relationship. I have my friends and family and am very happy with that for the time being.

You know, I would never marry again, but I would date. I am very independent too. I have friends who are single and I find traveling a lot with them would be great. We all have a lot in common. I would never find someone to replace John and I wouldn't want to try to look. Yes, he is my last. I always can find stuff to do to occupy my time. I would have all the time in the world and I would volunteer everywhere.
