Where do your housework skills fall?
1. I basically only clean when I am expecting company.
2. I pick up daily and do just what is necessary, dishes, clothes, etc.
3. I pick up daily and clean the whole house good once a week.
4. I don't do anything, I let my spouse or kids do it all.
5. I am an excellent, sterile cleaner. My house has to be spotless and neat at all times.
I am definately a #3.

I used to be a #3 and now its basically do what I can when I can. My house hasn't been spotless in a long time.

It stays livable. I just stay too busy with 3 kids. And I have this view: Sometimes its more important to spend the time with your kids than spent the time having a spotless house. They are only young once, and it won't be long and they will not want to hang out with me anymore, so I try to do things that cater to them right now. Anyways they will be doing all my housework about the time they don't want to hang out with me anyways.

They do some now, but they are only 8 and 3. Soon grasshoper soon.

i'm somewhere between a 3 and a 5 (but not a 4)due to my compulsive nature. If I can stay medicated, 3 is okay, but otherwise it's pretty much a 5.

I'm pretty much #5. I live alone and my kids are grown!!! When my kids were at home, I was #3. When my kids and grandkids come to visit I revert to #3.

That is exactly how I am. My house is basically clean, but cluttered most of the time. I spend a lot of time outside with the kids; I have Fridays off from work and used to try to get a LOT done, but have been volunteering in the school library the last few months. Seems like I can't clean as fast as the kids can mess it back up. Now that summer is coming they will both have more daily chores, and (hopefully) will become more responsible about helping out. Most days, I hate to admit, it is just easier to do it myself!
