LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Madonna launched her first world tour in two years on Sunday, delighting an enthusiastic Los Angeles crowd by hanging herself from a cross, insulting President George W. Bush, and dusting off some of the sexy moves that have sustained her career for more than 20 years.

I expect nothing less from her. She's always been a pig.

And what a shame, the pig is getting big money for it and influencing our teens.

I guess authoring innocent children's books didn't pan out as nicely as she had planned.

ROFL...I just saw the picture. What an idiot!
My guess is she's up there singing, "I'm Going Bananas" or "I'm so Stupid."

more power to her. and nothing like a critic to take things out of context slightly...
Later on, she donned a crown of thorns and suspended herself from a giant mirrored cross to deliver the ballad "Live to Tell." Video screens showed images of third-world poverty and reeled off grim statistics.
Her point was to make a statement about world poverty.
I'll listen to her anyday before I cater to a bubble gum pop star from American Idol.

Whatever her cause is, she is still a tramp and a poor role model for all teenage girls.

What part of her hanging from a cross makes a statement about poverty?
