Please pray for my sister and her family. My brother in law who is 49 yrs. old went in two weeks ago for a blocked artery which they repaired, but found out during the exam that he has leukemia. My niece who is 19 yrs. old started complaining of chest pain last week and the doctor said it was a pinched nerve and gave her some medicine. This daughter has been trying to help out by working her father's job while he is on the chemo. Her chest kept hurting and she got short of breath. They took her to the hospital and her chest was full of fluid. They put a chest tube in and drained a gallon of fluid. The surgeon is doing a lung biopsy in the morning. I am so scared.

Thank you all for your prayers. They performed an Endoscopy to check for a blockage of the thoracic duct lymph system but the surgeon said he couldn't see anything wrong. The drainage is getting less but the fluid is building up in her arms (she can't bend her elbows to feed herself). They are doing a repeat CAT scan later because the first was without contrast and too much fluid obscured the film. I wish they would let my sister visit longer. Jessica starts crying when they make her mother leave. They only allow ten-thirty minutes every couple of hours.

Update -
They moved my niece to the Cardiac Intesive Care unit which has open hours to visit. She has improved alot knowing someone can stay with her all the time. They did a repeat CAT scan and it appears there is a tumor in her chest. They are going to operate tomorrow or the next day. The surgeon told her that he hopes its cancer because he can fix it. If its not cancer the other disease which I don't have a name for has no cure. They keep asking her if she's been around chickens which she hasn't.
