My kids are coming home. I really need some sugar from those Grandkids!!! I'll be cooking and spoiling my kids. Two of my favorite things.

Might sounds like a stupid question, but what is Memorial Day exactly?

I don't have in particular but the City of Sierra Vista is having a big blow out to celebrate its 50th Anniversary as an incorporated city.

Having a sort of "family reunion". Spend some time with my little war hero. My nephew Brandon spent a year on the ground in Baghdad. I just talked to my sister, he has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome :( We are going to do our best for him this Memorial Day. He lost 14 friends while they were in Iraq and I think this one is going to be tough for him.

Going to my parents house as we usually do on Memorial Day. My dad will cook some ribs and chicken on the grill, and will blow up the kiddie pool for the youngins. :D

Grilling out and getting prepped for my offshore run from MD to FL in the new boat! Not mine (personally), but the one I've been working on for the past year or so with Zodiac...

Should be a blast...will be arriving in Tampa ~ 23 June...

Most of the photos are courtesy of my buddies Sean & Paul at Shockwave...

I'm just curious, does Canada have a holiday to remember the hero's who died for their country?

I'll be working on Memorial Day so some of my employees and their families can have the day off. We're having a few friends over on Sunday, though.

Everyone enjoy your weekend!

Yeah, we do. It's on November 11 ( Remembrance Day), but it's not an official statutory holiday...only a government and bank holiday. So most people have to work on this day of Remembrance.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the info!! We have companies here that do not give the day off for Memorial Day. I guess it's just who you work for......
