I would NEVER...

We all live by our own sets of standards and expectations, morals and ethics. And even though we might get crazy doing something that others normally DON'T do, what are some things you would NEVER do at this point in your life.
While I enjoy a good amusement park ride, even at my age, I would NEVER get on a motorcycle with someone and encourage them to go 100 mph for a thrill.
For people I know and people who trust me, I would NEVER intentionally compromise that trust.
What are some things you would NEVER do? Drink and drive? Steal?
And I mean things that are so much are part of who you are that NEVER really means NEVER.

Ditto to what Bill said! Another thing, I would NEVER, EVER let my fellow man suffer if I have the means to help them, I have been so richly blessed.....

I second that!! Especially about letting my fellow man suffer. You were blessed for a reason Dennis. I feel that way as well.

I would NEVER go 100 with somebody on the back of my bike. Do you know how your gas mileage drops at that speed with a passenger?
but seriously....I don't even like to have a passenger...its all I can do to keep my mind focused on the idiots on the road that seem to become suddenly blind as I approach an intersection.

I would NEVER smoke. It's harmful to myself and others (second-hand smoke), in addition to being a fairly expensive habit.
Never say never...???

Course I agree with the majority...except if someone was nuts and chasing me and I was racing for my life -- Then me and that person riding piggy back might be encouraging each other to exceed 100mph. ...but then I guess that's not what were talking about now is it.

I would NEVER ever point a gun at anyone in jest....NEVER would be careless when handling a firearm.
I would NEVER bungee jump...would NEVER take drugs; and would NEVER mistreat a lady or child in any way (or tolerate others doing it in my presence).
While I wouldn't ride a motorcycle at 100 mph; I WOULD LOVE to take a race car around the Talladega Superspeedway at 200 mph or so....it would be such a rush!!!

One aspect of my character I didn't specifically address is "relief of the distressed", but I should have...by word, prayer, presence or whatever means I have available to ease the burden of my fellow man, woman and/or child/children.
Serving others has been a lifelong process with me; personal gain has never entered into it (which disturbed some family members, to whom the word "altruism" had no meaning).
The downside is that, although attuned to the needs of others, somehow I forgot that I had needs, as well...a lesson that I'm stiill struggling with.

I will never intentionally jump out of a perfectly good airplane for recreational purposes.
I will never compromise my integrity, beliefs, morals and values just to please another person.
I will never willingly eat an insect, snake, cat, dog, squid, or snails just to say I tried it.
I will never say the cuss words that are derogatory to God, ya'll know which ones I mean.

PS: GREAT thought provoking topic, I plan on finishing my "never" list in my journal later on
