Prime suspect in killing of 7 surrenders
The man Indianapolis police consider the prime suspect in the slayings of seven family members surrendered to police at a fast food restaurant Saturday night. Desmond Turner, 28, was with his minister when he turned himself in to police custody at a Hardees restaurant about 6 p.m., police said. Another suspect had previously been arrested. Turner's criminal history includes convictions for firearm and drug offenses, as well as resisting law enforcement, police say.
