New Camera

i finally got a new camera. i headed over to National Camera Exchange and bought a used Nikon SLR N65 with a 28-80 mm lense for $200. not bad, all i need to do is figure out what settings are what and when to use them, but i'm so happy i finally got a new one!!

You will love your Nikon. We got a new one on sale for about $200. No need for a more expensive one, in a year or so, they will have new ones out with new bells and whisles. For the average person, this price range is enough. You can get all the quality pictures you want. Unless you are entering photo contests, haha.

I'm a professional photographer, so hopefully my $.02 is somewhat valuable. You can never go wrong with Nikon or Canon. The Nikon N65, while an older model (film) is a great SLR. Just remember, your camera is only as good as the glass you put on it. In other words, if you put a cheap lens on it, you aren't taking full advantage of the camera's qualities. I'm not familiar with that lens, what's the apertures?
