Thank you all so much. Tracy is the vocalist and songwriter.. She is the one who is sick with Melanoma.

Dana wrote The Blue Room which will be connected to the Wedding Song once the final mixdown is complete.

I appreciate the positive feedback! :D

HG....send in a cd to Jimmy Kimmel live...they're always showcasing bands. I've found some good unknown bands watching his show.

Tracey's coming into town on Friday. She, Dana and I are going to the recording studio at 11:00 am for the final mixdown. I spoke to Tracy's husband last night. She has been very nauseaous and hasn't been able to keep her pain medicine down. Hospice is trying a new nausea medication on her to see if it helps. That is why she hasn't been able to come to town to finish the mixdown.

Please say a prayer for her to have a good day on Friday.. :)

Our CD release party is scheduled for July 1st. We pray Tracy will be able to come to Jacksonville and at least play a few songs. We still have to do the artwork and packaging for the CD covers and stuff.

I'll let you all know when the CD's are ready for sale and shipment. A percentage of the sales will be donated to Hospice and / or Cancer research.

Dana and I are playing acoustic on Saturday at the House of Jam.

It's located at 9726 St. Augustine Road at the corner of San Jose here in Jacksonville. Do a mapquest for directions and please come see us!! :D

Dana and I did a couple songs last night from the CD at House of Jam.

I don't think Tracy will be playing because she's not feeling good. Kebra, our drummer may be joining us too but i don't know for sure.

Thanks Karan! :D I can't wait to hear the rest of the songs. I believe there will be 10 tracks total on the CD. Because The Blue Room and The Wedding song will be combined as one song.

It's an interesting story behind those pieces of music

Dana and Tracy knew eachother for years before I met Tracy back in 1995. They are both from Georgia. Dana composed that guitar solo the same weekend Tracy wrote the Wedding Song. But neither of them knew they wrote the songs in the same key and at the same exact time.

Later on they got together and both of them said "Look what I wrote last weekend" and the songs fit together perfectly.

In March of this year, we were in Blackshear practicing at Tracy's place and I was packing up the car and heard Churchbells from a nearby church. they rang exactly at 5:00pm, which I found out later, was the exact time Tracy's brother got married all those years ago.

Kebra was playing back a recording of our practice and the chuchbells were in key to the guitar solo Dana was playing on the playback. I ran inside and got my camera and put it on video and captured the sounds but by then the music had changed. but i still got it! :D

That's how i came up with the idea for that and did the churchbells on the keyboard at the studio.
