Lookie! Alberto!

This is both off topic and on topic.

I'm a swim coach during the summer. I love my kids. But they can drive me nuts. Especially when they say something such as a particular 10-year-old stated this morning:

"Coach Jason! Wanna bet those clouds are from Hurricane Alberto?!?!"

AHHHHH.

Number one. Alberto is chillin' in Nova Scotia right now, and is speeding fast and furious towards Santa Claus.
Number two. Alberto wasn't a hurricane.
Number three. When Alberto was a storm, it made landfall in Florida.
Number four. And when this occured, there was a large area of high pressure over our entire flippin' state, making any sort of weather impossible to reach us.

Ahhh children.

I'd give the 10-year old credit for being aware of something other than cartoons and video games. At least is shows a little original thought on his part.

Maybe that kid would be receptive to talking about the weather with you. That would be a great way to make a lasting impression on him. Maybe he'll be a future meteorologist.
