This for anyone getting older.

What is one thing you cannot do now that you could when you were younger?

Me... pluck my eyebrows, I cannot see them... so I get them waxed

i used to be able to rock climb a lot and swim a 100 laps without keeling over. not any more! i'm terrified of heights now and swimming more than 25 laps, i'd probably drown...

Working 15 hour days used to be a breeze for me. My limit now is about 12; after that I get VERY cranky. I also as a young man was able to easily lift and carry my own weight..and then some..with ease. Thanks to back problems these days are long over.

Well, let's see, I'm 30 with 2 kids. One thing that I cannot do anymore is stay up late. Usually by 11pm, I'm about to die of sleeplesness. I used to be able to party all night, 2am was considered early.

Holly and George---

Just hang on for 30 more years and then you'll be back on the night shift. Just check the time on my post.

I need less sleep now unless I'm ill and I can nap when and if I like.

Getting old "ain't" half bad.

I can't stay up late anymore either. I also take naps whenever possible now.

If I work from a sitting or kneeling position for long...like painting trim along the floor or repair work outside...I definitely look for a post, a chair, or a railing to help me back up! Also...don't eat as much (quantity) any more. Half of what I used to eat fills me up!

Finally, losing weight. I consume much less, but am still fairly active, but the lbs just won't come off like they did if I had tried that at a younger age!
