What is something you see in a movie that you would probably not see in real life?

Me...

In the movies when people are eating at a restaurant, they never eat and leave with a plate full of food.

In movies, most woman cook and clean their houses all dressed up

Do you ever notice that doctors, FBI agents, detectives on the police force, etc. all look like they are in their 20s.

Someone being resuscitated without intubation or mouth-to mouth breathing...using chest compressions only. ABC - Airway, Breathing, Circulation...in that order.

*snicker* Janice, you've never seen my grandmother cook. LOL!

Also, guns don't need to be reloaded and computers always beep as information appears on-screen.

The gosh awful way they "do" CPR is appaling in the Soap Operas....I'm like hello.....you aren't 4/5 finger breathes above his/her sternum, your in the middle of his chest you dummies....and you also have to give him some breaths.....makes me ill. And when somebody gets shocked, they don't jump up and flop around like they do on movies and TV's...sure they move...but not as dramatic as that.

i'm always amazed at how much ammunition the "bad guys" have and they always seem to miss more than they hit. (if i were a bad guy, i'd be hiring better shooters) and the good guys always seem to have only a few bullets left and take out half the army...

I like how the guys get shot and get up and continue persuing the bad guys. I would think they would be in shock.

Duckie how about doctors scrubbing for surgery with their masks off?

Another thing ive seen on hospital shows and when a patient dies they are immediately covered completely with a sheet. Ive seen a few hospital deaths and have never seen that done until the patient is readied for transport to the morgue.

Yup, that too, George! Or when they contaminate a sterile field and then continue on with surgery.

How about when cell phones have dial tones?

One thing that always gets me is when a couple is in bed and they've just gotten done doing... ya know.

Anyway, the woman always holds the blanket over her, and takes it with her when she gets up. Who walks around with a bed sheet on and why can't the person you're in bed with see you naked anymore?

I know, I know, it's because you can't show naked people on TV, but there has to be a more creative way of covering up.

From now on when the actor gets in the car notice if he buckels up. They almost never buckle their seat belt. This makes me so angry. Its the law. I also have noticed that police officers on the road aren't buckled up. WHY? Anyone know why they don't?

I love Harrison Ford and don't know if you have seen Firewall, but the end of the movie I laughed myself silly. He took such a beating from the bad guy and it shows after the fight he is trembling and shaking etc, but a minute later he is taking a hike down the road with his family after being thrown down a staircase, being hit and bludgeoned numerous times, thrown through glass windows and out into a deep ditch. A little reality would be nice.

Hmmmm what do the movies have that real life doesn't seem to have?

number 1: They possess an uncanny LACK of reality... which is okay more often than not as they are usually meant as an escape from same... with notable exceptions of course.
