One of my current projects at my job is the replacement of stormwater pumps in flood control pumping stations in a nearby town. I was contacted by the Army Corps about what they are going to do with the old pumps. The Army Corps might take these off our hands, refurbish them and use them in N.O.
These are like 150 horsepower pumps, so I'm sure that they're modest size by N.O. standards, but they might have a use for them!
I'm supposed to email back to an Army Corps representative this afternoon with the specificatons for them.
