Well, I know how our prayer warriors have helped so many people so I'm asking for you guys to unite and help my Mom.

Most of you have heard about my Mom. She's one terrific lady. She's 83 years old, still works in the hospital gift shop, volunteers for the auxilary, works in the drama department for the Woman's Club and goes on all kinds of AARP tours and junkets. She still drives and is soooo very active.

On June 19 she had a serious stroke. She is presently in the hospital in the rehab unit. She's having problems walking and using her left arm and left hand. They are putting her thru extensive therapy and she is getting rather frustrated and kinda depressed - which is soooo very unlike her.
She lost my Dad 30 year ago and has been on her own since then. She has such a strong faith in God and I know that this will see her thru.

I'm asking that the prayer warriors unit and ask God to give her strength and courage to make it thru this.

Oh sis, you KNOW my prayers are going out right this very minute!

Prayers are on the way. Keep us informed. I am sure things will be fine. Just remember, it takes longer to recoup for the older folk.

I'm so sorry Karan! I can't imagine how frustrating it is for someone like your mother who has been so independent to have to cope with this. My prayers are going out to both you and her!

Karan its not unusual for stroke patients to become depressed and weepy for awhile. My prayers are with you and your mom.

Karan - I am so sorry to hear the news and of course I will pray. I already started.
