Favorite Movie Lines:

I'm sure someone has already done this before (as fast as these topics roll)... but it intrigued me when I saw the AFI list of the 100 most famous quotes in motion picture history. A lot of folks don't realize that some of their most frequently used/heard cliches began as movie one-liners. I'm not sure I agree with the whole list, but I did KNOW which would be the #1... and I think everyone did-- "Frankly my dear... I don't give a damn!" ... it wasn't hard to pick out at least 5 of the top 10.... just wondering if any of you have a favorite quote of your own from Glitz-town? One of my favorites is:

"What we have here... is a failure to communicate."

and of course:

"I'll make him a deal he can't refuse..."

I'm sure I don't have to mention the movies involved.

I always like the line in Clear and Present Danger when the President of the U.S. was trying to use scare tactics on Harrison Ford. Ford comes back and says, "Sorry Mr. President, I don't dance. "

Another good one was during Saving Private Ryan. Tom Hanks last words to Private Ryan before he passed away were "earn this"...."earn it."

In A Few Dollars More:

Clint Eastwood just asked Lee van Cleef a personal question and adds:

"Is that question indiscreet?"

van Cleef replies: "No, but the answer may be"

Nope... no new list... and you're right missed that one.... just didn't realize they'd have the whole dialogue in there...
