We had some left over hot dogs tonight. I called our two dogs, Beauty and Hootch, and Roxie, our daughter's dog who is visiting. Beauty is the oldest, the slyest and the most coordinated. Roxie is a big uncoordinated oaf. I tossed the hot dogs to each in turn. Roxie missed hers and it fell on the floor. Beauty was right there and snatched it up.

Roxied looked at me to see if I had another one. I didn't and said sadly "Roxie, you know it's a dog eat dog world out there."

Great......our cats do the same thing. We throw them each a treat. Some just have to look them over carefully first. In the meantime, it is being stolen by another cat. These animals have to learn to grab them quickly or they are gone...

Dog eat Dog World...now that is a good one!
