Most jobs have a saying that people associate with that type of work.

Me............... Code Blue............hospitals
Officer Down........ police

Pretty soon, when you hear these sayings, you know what kind of job they are associated with. Can you think of one?

You can tell I watch a lot of tv, this is where I hear these...

-When approaching someone at their desk: "Working hard or hardly working?"

-When approaching someone that's working on a long term assignment: "Aren't you done yet?" (Have to be careful with that one)

-A greeting when returning from lunch: "Back to the salt mines"

-A greeting when arriving in the morning: "Another day, another dollar, but in my case, fifty cents."

-A question to someone who is leaving to go home on time or maybe a half hour early: "Half-a-day today?"
