I doubt we are in World War 3, but in my opinion we are getting really close to having a World War 3.

Newt's trying to sell his book. Keep that in consideration when you hear him scaremongering.

A slight exxageration maybe..not scaremongering though. Probably in my lifetime we will see a world war that would make the first two look like a school fight.

Uh, yes. WW3 would kill way more people then 46 million. Nukes is one reason.

It is nowhere near WW3. Him saying that is solely for his own finanacial and political gain. In order for WW3 to be here then we would need to be fighting countries and not terrorist organisations.
I agree things are not the most stable right now but the only way WW3 will be on us is If the US decides to Invade North Korea. While China and Russia have Interests in what is going on in the middle east, those interests are not big enough to result in a World War.
