Wild ride: Suspect nabbed after big rig pursuit

An armed man hijacked an 18-wheeler, took a hostage and led police on a bizarre chase through Collin, Dallas and Tarrant counties for more than three hours Sunday afternoon.
The gunman was identified as Samuel Scott Jones, 31, of Dallas.
"I don't think this is going to end peacefully because black men are targets anyway," he told reporter Rebecca Lopez. Asked to explain, Jones said, "African-American men have Xs on their backs. They are targets of the government. The cops are going to hurt me either way."
