East Nebraskans post your thoughts about Chris as it looks to be a decent probability there could be some associated cirrus in the local area....
I am getting quite worried that the cirrus may be dense enough to lower UV rates by a couple of points. How ever will I tan while I'm harvesting corn?!

Sorry... normally I'd post this in TT as a joke, but with everyone going bonkers... I'll just post it in here.

Just got off the phone with family in Grand Island. They've secured patio furniture, and boarded up the winds. Mandatory evacuations in effect. They're heading up to Valentine to ride out Chris.

And how many east Nebraskans do we have here?

Guess it must be at least three, since there's three posts in this thread now.

Actually, we do have a handful here in the forum. Most only wake up during severe weather season or snow time, especially the latter...

Don't those corn-fed boys come out for college football season?

Nah... during college football season, all the Nebraskans are in Lincoln, rooting for the Cornhuskers. Luckily, since I am a Mizzou fan, the roads are rather clear.
