Larry King is doing an interview on CNN on him now.
But...they're calling him Mike Douglas, a TV talk show host. Maybe it's not the actor?
Edit: It's not THAT Michael Douglas. This Mike Douglas died at 81. The actor Michael Douglas was born in 1944.
Sorry for jumping the gun.

Yes this is who I bet they are talking about. A 70's talk show host.

There is nothing anywhere saying the actor Micheal Douglas has died. Thank goodness. Honest mistake I guess.

Everytime I hear of him now I'm reminded of the funny line involving him in the movie
The Nutty Professor with Eddie Murphy. For those of you who don't know the line, I can't repeat it here.
I never really watched or listened to him, but I've heard people who are big fans.

R.I.P. Mr. Douglas
I remember during my grade school years watching his variety show...guests like Dinah Shore, Sammy Davis Jr., etc.

May he rest in peace. I remember him quite well from my childhood. I even went to a taping of one of his shows (~1975) when he was visiting Savannah, GA, due to the movie Gator being made there.

I found an interesting video clip from when Tiger Woods was only two. It is from the Mike Douglas Show, when Bob Hope was cohosting.
It shows Tiger driving the ball in the studio with his father Earl watching.
To find it, first go to the following:

Next, click on "Media", and then look for the link to the clip toward the bottom of the page.

I recall his old talk show; but have heard little of him since then... many moons ago.
Rest In Peace, Mike!

I was just thinking that - I used to watch his show when I got home from school (obviously before cable/DirecTV - otherwise I was at the age to watch cartoons!).
