What makes you the happiest?

I would say when my husband and/or kids does something unexpectedly for me. Like my daughter spontaneously cleaning her room (yeah right and that happens sooooo often

) or my husband cleaning the kitchen (though he has yet to realize the stove needs wiped down too

) or my son comes over just to visit (and not expect a meal

)

I'd say what makes me happiest is when someone calls or e-mails me who I haven't heard from in ages, for no rhyme nor reason and I hear from them...that makes me very very happy.

Seeing church friends on Sunday in S.S. and sharing a laugh together with them every now and then

(hoping we aren't disturbing a class "next door").
We also have a class activity outing once about every month.
Also, when my folks and I greet congregation members and visitors on the 2nd Sunday each month before the early service at church starts.

Nothing beats a girl telling you she likes you *sighs in happiness*

Family, family, family.

They are the ones that can make me the maddest but also the happiest.
Also laying on the beach all alone listening to the waves makes me a very happy person.

Seeing a need, and doing something good for someone.
My family would be amazed at this answer, but I get cranky when people are always ASKING ME to do something for them. There's a big difference to me.

I saw this thread and realized what makes me the happiest is what makes our dog the happiest! LOL When we're all home again. Having a daughter in college, that presents a challenge sometimes. It is rare when we're all home together again. But I cherish those times. They end again next Tuesday -

. But I'll handle the separation better this time, since she'll be a Sophomore. But seriously, the dog only chews her bones when we're all home. One by one we come in and when the last one is home, she plops down with a huge sigh and a good chew. Cute.
Family - I'm so grateful to have one. When 23 years ago I didn't think I'd be this happy! Or have a chance to be a mom (newly divorced).

That's an easy one. When we are all together as a family and having fun, laughing and enjoying each others company. Sounds simple, but as any of you with teenagers already know, it isn't as simple as it sounds!!!!

Loren - again, we think alike! See my answer. I didn't mention the fun, enjoying eachother's company (guess in my Pollyanna like viewpoint, I glossed over the inevitable teenage fights!).
