Oh dang you bill..now i've got that song...chaka khan, chaka khan...going thru my head!

Lisa, don't name him right away. Watch him and get to know his personality and a name will come to you.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Genghis Khan", cher; he has that "I'm going to take over the world" demeanor.

Trevor is a good one. What we have done is to be patient and let the names sort of find us. My wife picked up our first kitty after we had her for about a week and said "You look like a Misha" - it just came to her, she says. Likewise, for Kibby and Toby - our two most recent - we just waited a bit and the names were found. It's part of the wonderful adventure you're going on together. Note: Kibby and Toby are "orange" tabbies - with Kibby about four times Toby's size - she's a big girl. Anyways, these two "hassle & wrassle" and generally run around. My wife refers to the pair as "The Visigoths". :D

My first thought when I saw the first picture. ATTITUDE! Not a name, but the cat. If his personality matches the pictures, I'd have to agree with Kahn!

He is beautiful!! Hope you have a long happy friendship with him!

Of course he wants to take over the world: he's a cat.

There's an old saying: "My dog thinks he's human, my cat thinks he's God".

In case you can't tell, I love cats!

Wow, that is an awesome looking kitty. And I have to agree with other comments here about how his face appears to have that look. I think its the black nose that does it. I think I would name him Smitten because he sure does look smitten about something. You could call him Smitty for short.

Or you could think of Khan from Star Trek throwing Captain Kirk around like a rag doll. Keep an eye on that cat, Yankeegirl... (Picture yourself screaming: KHAN!!! ala William Shatner, whenever your cat does something underhanded.)

Aww, what an adorable kitten! I had cats while growing up but my most beloved was a rust colored full bred persian. Be prepared for hair - everywhere!

My first thought as I studied his face was simple - Blackie - for his black nose. Other than that I don't have a clue! He's so cute. Enjoy being a new mommy to him!

Awww he's beatiful!!!! First thing that hit my mind was "Puff" He looks like a puffball to me and I don't think he has an attitude, just looks like he doesn't like his pic taken, but that's just my opinion :D
