I can't believe he actually got to meet with the President and have coffee with him in the White House. And Condi Rice was there, too.
Just a small town boy from St Bernard trying to make his voice heard.
They said for days the pres would not be meeting with him. See, never say never.

That's because Rocky did it RIGHT. I knew he would have success when I heard him last week say he was going to go up there and thank the President for what HAS been done, but remind him that there is still much TO BE done.

I'm happy for him, and all my old "Buds" in St. Bernard--- folks still call me a "Chalmatian" out here in Metry, because I went to Chalmette High! Glad to see he got his wish.

That is the best way to remind the the gov't that there are still people that have no homes because of Katrina's damage and do not have the means to start over with nothing.
