Oh, I definately would not run anymore. I may climb a tree to the first big branch tho. I would have to start on a short ladder, tho.

Ride on amusement park rides that spin around in circles.
I get so sick now, never use to in my younger days.

I second that one. I still love coasters though.

Also swimming in the rivers we used to always swim in as kids, no way now I have heard to many gator attack news stories.

Bust a front flip off the diving board, back dives are still iffy.

In my head I am ready to do EVERYTHING that I used to do....unfortunately, my head and body don't seem to agree! It's pretty challenging when one has to admit to themselves that so much of the "fun" stuff is in the past.

Hope all these "youngsters" realize how quickly time goes by!......p

Steve, I will be 62 in November and I am having the best time of my life. Last year, I walked on the bottom of the ocean with a helmet on. My husband went bungie jumping in Las Vegas. We are having a ball. Kids, don't be afraid of getting older. When I was your age, I did it all, the college scene, partying, etc. Now, traveling and doing exciting things in other places, taking tons of pictures, watching canes and the ability to do pretty much what you want, is great.

I third that. Spinning rides and Roller coasters and I just do not mix anymore. Years ago we were trying to get our youngest daughter to be brave enough to ride them at Kings Island. She said she'd get on if I did. So here I was all looped up on Dramemine, Motrin and Caffeine (which counteracts the nausea I get, along with salty snacks such as pretzels) walking around KI. Each time we'd pass another coaster line, she'd hem haw around. After a few hours she said she just couldn't bring herself to try them. So off our two girls went to the more gentler rides, while hubby and I holed up in the beer garden. I ended up putting my head down on a table and falling asleep. I'm sure people thought I had too much beer and I hadn't even had a drop! LOL I didn't come out that stooper for hours.......and I didn't even get one stinkin' coaster that day!

Well, I just took my kids and grandkids to Idlewild Park 2 weeks ago. Yep, I road most of the rides. I love them all. The Wild Mouse is one of my favorites. When I was younger I thought that 60 was old. It's not!!!! I just feel more "experienced."

Oh, I wouldn't do a cartwheel anymore either Janice.

That one is an "A-MEN" for me!

If I have an emergency, I have to "fast-jog", now - the younger
folks can run past me!
