Is my cigarette pack tapped?

Okay, I bought a 20 pack of smokes yesterday, and when I went to open it, I noticed on the bottom that the back of the box is cut, through the tin foil, to the tabacco ends of the cigarettes. Then, when I went to take off the seal, the yellow part that you peal off was sticky and looks like it was glue on in a part. Then, I inspected the smokes, and the ones in the back row have a greenish tint to the tabacco at the end. I just lit one up, from the front of the box, and I'm actually afraid to smoke it. What should I do? Return them?

Agreed on that. Is that the only one in the cartoon that looks like that? That is odd and should be reported to someone for further inspection. Whatever you do don't smoke them.

i would return it to the store where you purchased it and express your concern. i would think they might have to report it to the authorities. ??

Being a criminal investigator PLEASE take them to your local police dept, talk to the Criminal Investigations division...they will impound them and send 'em to the lab for examination!

I've done some research on one of forensic websites and it SOUNDS like it could possibly be "PCP!"....TURN them in and DO NOT smoke them!

Well, I lit one a few days back, and never smoked it out of fear. I still have the pack, but I haven't been using it. I'll throw it out soon. Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been home in 2 days.

Why are you ignoring sound advice? These could be deadly, and you could have one pack among thousands. You have no idea.

why not take them to the authorities so they can try to find out who did it, if indeed they are tampered with??

the chance that only one pack at the store was tampered with is unlikely. if you dont report it and then hear later that someone got sick from smoking them, wont you feel bad? why did you ask for advice in your initial post if you're going to ignore it? just curious.

just bring it in! it will be worth it to find out what's going on, and you may help the police if indeed something is going on.

This is typical, people don't want to get involved and by doing so, you risk putting HUNDREDS of other, thoughtful, caring people at risk....it's your call and it's YOUR conscience, hope you sleep well at night oh and BTW...glad you didn't smoke 'em, at least one person is ok.
