Now that I make my home in SC I can't say much about what the Chinese do. After all, the rednecks here think nothing of a good cock fight.

Different strokes for different folks. There are those that claim greyhound racing to be cruel. How about a horse race? I never see people all up in arms about the horse getting its hide whipped over and over.

I hope that kangaroo punched him where it hurts the most. This is sickening :x

You are right j, different strokes and all. But to me there is just something really wrong with putting a pair of boxing gloves onto a kangaroo and a man box with the animal.

if you look at the extra photos, I think he got him good once judging by the look on his face.

Linda pointed it out in the Kentucky Derby thread. She's got a point and I'm not one to attempt to debate with Linda. But after growing up watching the Derby for years, it's hard for me to see it as as bad thing. I really didn't notice all the whipping, but I knew about the tragic results if a horse broke his leg. For me, it is mostly all about the festivities, the roses, the parades, the beauty of the horses, and the thrill of watching the race.

So, what about rodeos and bullriding?

Cindy, I didn't have to read the article because I kinda figured it is about the kangaroo's and boxing. This is one of the best kept secrets, at least they think so anyway. Steve Irwin was fixing to bring all this out in the open. I am praying Terri does it.

j, you will see and hear me when it comes to horses. They are beautiful animals and deserve better than what they get and have to endure while racing, greyhounds too.

Believe it or not Duckie, horses enjoy rodeos, especially the studs. lol They are not abused there because they are loved and cared for by their owner. I do not believe in bullriding.
