This story is plastered all over our local news - on air, in print, and online. Since he works for a small town to the north of Cincinnati, named Hamilton, OH. Not to be confused with the county name Cincy sits in, Hamilton County. Our county pros. does not behave like this! What a oddball! He's their County Pros. for crying outloud. And being caught nude wasn't the first time. Seems he has an adversion to clothing.

His lawyer said he is on meds. What kind of meds make a person go out in public naked? Nudeocycline maybe???

haha...honestly...I hope he does lose his job...running around naked in ones house is one thing...doing it in the office, regardless of time, is completely different...think of the horror the guy who caught him must of faced...he (or she?) is probably in couseling right now...

Is it really "indecent exposure" if nobody is around to see you? We are a nation of ridiculous Puritans.

Sure, on both counts. I'm not sure how visiting the west coast is relevant. As far as movies and tv, we as a nation practice an extremely twisted puritanism where violence is a-ok but if you show a boob or say a "bad" word, God help you.

You're cracking me up gt!

Glad to be of service. :)

I didn't say "ALL of us". Clearly I'm not a Puritan.

But the nation as a whole has some twisted puritanical notions about nudity and sex.

I mean come on. Nobody else was even there in this case. Who cares if he was walking around naked? Nobody is harmed. We just have this societal weirdness about nudity.

gtalum - now would you want your child to just happen upon this??? Can you be assured that this behaviour is not a sign of other bad behaviours??

Well any effect on a child or anyone else is a result of society. gtalum's point is that nudity is thought of as dirty because of society, not because of any natural reason.

When it comes to nudity (and sex in general) we are indeed one of the most puritanical countries in the West.

1) It's irrelevant. Nobody else was around.

2) Whiel I will do my bets to shield my child from nude adults while she's a child, I don't see nudity as a bad thing. It doesn't hurt kids to see nude people.
Can you be assured that this behaviour is not a sign of other bad behaviours??

Can you be assured that a guy having a beer isn't a sign of other bad behaviors? Should we then outlaw beer?

Now c'mon gt - I know how you love to get all intellectual on us, and I really enjoy reading your comments! - but there is a time and place for nudity, and a public place isn't one of them. I don't think Puritanical morals has anything to do with this situation. The man is demonstrating inappropriate behavior, has known mental problems, and shouldn't be in any position of power over other people when he has no control over himself.

Are you being deliberately obtuse about my reference to the movies and west coast? I can't believe it! To clarify, there's plenty of nudity on the beaches, in movies, and on TV with morals conspicuously absent - Puritanical or otherwise.

I'm sorry, but I need some clarification or perhaps, gt, you're looking for a different word than what you've used? I'm lost as to how puritanism is twisted or ridiculous.
