Just want to wish those superstitious peeps the best of luck!!!!!
And just a tidbit...if the 1st falls on a Sunday you'll have a Friday the 13th that month!

And just to think that tomorrow I get on a bus with 36 high schoolers for the first debate tournament of the year tomorrow. Maybe I should be superstitious...

I "rescue" spiders out of our pool every day - just can't stand to see anything drown.
However, I've been chased out of the house on more than one occasion by the flying Texas-sized roaches...

Want to hear mine so far? I was pulling into work and there was a man laying on the side of the road. I did not think anything of it. Then my boss pulls in and told me there is a man laying by the side of the road. We walked back out there and a guy had already stopped, looked upset. We called the police because this was a dead man that had been hit by a car. He was hit so hard it knocked him out of his boots and clothes. State troopers told me that the man must have been hit in the wee hours of the morning. It is classified as a hit and run.
One of our trucks rolled over and has traffic backed up on the interstate and HWY.90 as I am typing. The driver is being transported to the hospital.
And I have been told it was MY turn to go get lunch!
