Clean & Sober 13 years today!

Today is my soberity birthday! 13 years with nothing stronger than an asprin. Life is sweet! This is a HUGE milestone for me because the first time I got sober, I went back out after 12 and a half years.
Recovery is a wonderful journey and it just keeps getting better. I am sharing this not so much to brag (okay, just a little) as much as to carry a message of hope to those of you who may be sick and suffering.

Happy Birthday Windsong. I am really proud of you. You've earned my utmost respect for accomplishing this milestone. Someone close to me just celebrated their 3rd birthday pillfree.

That is just awsome... My hubby is trying to sober up... though relaps are quite often... I guess its a part of life... GOod Job!!

WOW! Feel free to brag away! Successful sobriety for 13 years is nothing to sneeze at. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you. Congrats!
