I've never heard of this before. Has anyone had any at their state fairs? Is it any good.

Never heard of it!
I've heard of adding a can of coke to glazed ham but that's the extent of using it for non-drinking purposes.

How to make Coke better? Fry it
Deep-fried is the new Coke
Hmm... looks interesting, lol. I would try it, to "see" what it tastes like.

Seamster's words caught the ear of Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison, perhaps wondering if the fat-and-sugar cocktail qualified as a controlled substance: "I heard him say it would give you a `Zing.' "<<
That my friends is why I fear government. Ignorant enforcers. A controlled substance, what a crock.
Sounds like death in a cup though, I'd definitely try it.

LOL, I saw the post header and thought, "Hmmmm...I've tried a few new dishes
that ended up looking like that sounds, in the past...!"
Never heard of it, 'til now. Will wonders never cease?

My ex-mother in law made the best barbecued chicken I have ever eaten with a bottle of catsup and a two liter coke.

I'm going to the North Carolina State Fair Sunday...supposedly it is coke syrup (you know...minus the carbonation) and funnel cake batter. Personally i still prefer fried snickers bars and sweet potato fries with powdered sugar and kettle corn

The State Fair of Texas also has Fried Coke, which turned out to be one of the Food Contest Finalist on the list of foods.
