Vacation!!!

Alright...we are leaving wednesday morning for the mountains of western NC...we will be near Boone and are going to the Tweetsie Railroad to ride the Ghost Train...we will also be visiting Gem Mountain...along with several other things...tuesday they might get some snow flurries...so I'm hoping we might see one or two flakes of the white stuff later around friday/saturday when the next front comes thru...(hey, I can hope cant I?

Cool, don't forget pictures. My wife and I are going to the mountains of Va to do some camping and hiking next weekend.

Dont worry...I will not forget to take some pics...my teacher used to live in the area and said we are going at the perfect time...as foilage
should be near peak right now...so hopefully I'll get those awesome autumn colors!

Nice Pictures, we are going to be near Crabtree falls, hope to do day hikes up to The Priest and Spyrock.

cool...Spyrock isnt to far from where those photos were taken...near Vesuvisus (sp) correct?
EDIT: Its Spy Mountain near Vesuvisus (sp)...not rock...duh...
