whats a clerihew?
A humorous, pseudo-biographical verse of four lines of uneven length, with the rhyming scheme AABB, and the first line containing the name of the subject.
heres a famous one by Edmund Clerihew Bentley:
Sir Humphrey Davy
Abominated gravy.
He lived in the odium
Of having discovered sodium.
here's mine of dew:
Sometimes theres Dew
and the cows go moo.
the dew goes pit pot
off of the roof and sometimes it does not.
mine was kinda lame. the idea was just sent to me via myspace.

Clerihew! Hmmmm, I've never even heard of this. Thanks. Another learning day on earth.
here's mine of rain...
OH! So much rain,
all the water going down the drain.
Thunder, the houses all rattle,
And chases away all the cattle.
Ok, lame also, but I did try.

Ahh, a fish,
petrified in a dish.
Being eaten away,
and I wish it would stay!
My old mother,
a close friend of my brother.
Once she was there,
and now she is heir.
Just two attempts at it.

Everybody Loves Raymond,
Even down in the Cayman.
And with Debra, his wife,

Nice one, Justin! The one caveat, however, is that the word "Cayman" may not flow.

Here's 1..
There's a football team..
In Miami it seems..
They can not play..
no matter who they pay..
In November.. I will go..
To see this teams show...
Hopefully they wont' be 1-8..
When I go see them use Vikings as their bait
I know.. stupid 1

Chills moving into South Florida,

But just wait a few days from now,
and warm weather will return, I vow!

clerihews I cannot get
my rythm in my ways is set
Now limericks I can produce
I can do them quite profuse
We all know a guy named Chad
As people go, he's not bad
This board he does run
like Atilla the Hun
and the Trolls all end up very sad.
