This has been one of the worst accidents I haved seen here in Puerto Rico when a woman with another woman as passenger driving a Mazda was driving not in favor of the transit and at a high speed in one of the main expressways of San Juan slammed into a Durango in which the driver also was a woman that was going to work in a hotel in San Juan.3 woman lost their lives in this accident. The accident occured around 4:30 AM and the traffic jam was horrendous as the expressway was closed for more than 5 hours while the investigation was being conducted. I live close to that expressway and heard the impact but didn't go to see what happened until later when the first news came out about the accident. The investigation still is going on as witnesses are cooperating to tell the authoritys what they saw.Two bodies haved been indentified, the other one still has not,all three young woman. My condolenses to the familys of the victims.

Above is a very sad photo that shows the place in the hotel where the woman who was going to work in the Durango car.The employees there are crying.

An update about the investigation is that the Mazda that was the cause of the horrible accident was involved in another accident before and they were at a run from police in Las Americas Expressway in reverse of transit and at around 80 mph. They still are trying to determine if beer or drugs were involved.

No matter if they find out that beer or drugs were involved or not in the Mazda it's a big tragedy for the families involved and for those like me who saw this in the news or in person here today.
