Oh yummy! My fil gave us a tree a few years back and this is the first year it's produced fruit. I have 16 yummy satsumas to eat!

My Mother had a beautiful Satsuma tree that put out some nice sized ones and believe it or not they were sweet. Of course, she lost it due to you know who. She was just sick. She has planted another one though.

I LOVE Satsumas.

I'm disappointed in my Meyer lemon this year. Usually by now it's just loaded with fruit, but for some reason they all dropped early in the summer. Then it was the attack of the mealy bugs and hand picking the nasty things. I have all of 3 lemons this year. I made so many lemon bars and lemon meringue pies last winter I could have catered.
