Please pray for my 4-year old little cousin Isabella

I decided to do this in a bulletin, cause this would take a while to send to

almost everyone.
Besides family, those of you who know my little girl Isabella, I wanted to let ya'll know, Bella had a big seizure last night. She was fine an hour and a half earlier when I told her to go lay down with Noah. I had to call 911 and she was rushed to the hospital. Thank God I was awake and paranoid like I am. I decided to go check on her at 1:00 a.m. and noticed her eyes wide open. I thought I startled her with the hallway light, but then realized she wasn't moving or responding to my voice. So I turned the room light on to find she had thrown up everywhere's and was seizing. I grabbed her and brought her to the recliner so she wouldn't choke on her vomit. It also caused her to wet herself. While waiting for the ambulance she continued to be unresponsive, and started to do some major twitching and I could hear her teeth grinding together. The medics shot some med's up her noise to try to bring her out of it. By the time we got outside to the stretcher she had started to come to a little and fight us, but on the way to the hospital she went back into the seizure. They finally broke it at the hospital and we were able to come home some hrs. later. This was, I think a little worse than the very first one she had on the day of hurricane Katrina in Dallas.
Those of you who know me pretty good, know that I'm paranoid ever since we lost our first son and I fear losing another child. It goes to show you how God protects our children. IT wasn't until I was home some hrs later, that I finally broke down and realized all the what ifs. What if I had been sleeping? What if Natalie wasn't still awake aggrivating me, cause she was fighting with the dog? What if Bella wasn't lying on her side already when she began to vomit? What if?? All that made me realize God was here last night and had me go check on her at the perfect time. I could have gone check on her earier and never check on her again until morning!
Anyways thanks for listening. I thought this would be easier, than to send to many different people. Bella is doing fine now. When we got home, I put her in the tub to clean her up and she just sat there singing, like nothing ever happened. :) SO please pray for Bella, especially that she never has one at night time again, cause I think that's what freaked me out the most.
love, Kisha

This is what my cousin Kisha wrote to me on myspace. I love this little girl like my own. And I worry about her so much. She did not have her first seizure until shortly after her 3rd birthday on the day that Hurricane Katrina hit. Kisha, her husband, and their 3 kids evacutated to Dallas, TX because they live in a trailor. If they would of not evacutated, Bella could of died, because the ambulances would of had difficult time getting to her in hurricane force winds. Bella had not had another seizure in months until 1 a.m. just this past Sat morning. I keep praying this is just a childhood thing and she will outgrow it. I want Bella to have a normal life. I want to see her be a normal teenager someday being able to drive, date, hold down a job. This is just so scary and I keep praying that Bella will someday be cured from these seizures. Bella is on seizure medicine yet she still had a seizure. Please pray for her. She is only 4 years old!

I will pray that she outgrows this. My cousin had something similar concerning her seizures starting young and had rare seizures after her teens. Most of them seemed to occur at night after she had gone to bed. I believe she has only had a couple of seizures as an adult and that was because she stopped taking her meds for months at a time because she didn't feel she needed them anymore.

If Isabella's mom would of not went into her room at 1:00 a.m. just at the right time, she would be dead right now. Easily could of choked on her own vomit. This is her first seisure she had in months. My heart just aches for her and hope that they will stop. MRI shows she has an abnormality on the left side of her brain and she has a form of childhood epliepsy.
