Or whatever. I wasn't paying attention to numbers.
This guy is a bit weird, he carries around a murse(you don't wanna know) and then doesn't know The Netherlands are a country. The questions are pretty hard though.

Emmitt Smith question, interesting.
LOL, Clinton jokes! "I thought that was Monica", well yeah, her too.
Paula Abdul was a stand-up comic in 1989?!

Well that ended very disappointingly.

That was a weird game show. I thought it was just different. One thing that I do notice is that you can rack up a huge amount of money in a short period of time and it's much easier to get then other game shows (1 vs 100, DOND, etc). A lot of the questions were about music and entertainment.

It was defintely different and weird.
I liked it for the first hour but by the end it started to feel reptitive, so I'm not sure I'll stick around. NBC is putting Deal or No Deal head-to-head with it on Wednesdays at 8 starting in January, and based on last night's ratings for DOND, that could be a huge problem for ABC.

Do you have a
Dart Theory for it yet?

No. I really should call it something different like a pattern or trend or maybe a "law"? So far, no patterns have been noticed in "Show me the Money".

The final half-hour of "Dancing with the Stars," 18.0/26, and the debut of the William Shatner-hosted game show "Show Me the Money," 10.2/15, kept ABC on top at 9 p.m. FOX climbed all the way to second place with "House," 8.9/13. "The Unit" was third for CBS. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged 6.1/9 for NBC, and The CW got a 1.7/3 from "Veronica Mars."
At 10 p.m., "Law & Order: SVU" moved NBC into the lead with a 9.8/16. "Show Me the Money" slid to 7.3/12 on ABC, but that was still good enough to beat the premiere of "3 Lbs.," 6.5/11, on CBS.
Almost a 30% drop...

57% Retention out of DWTS.

Horrific drops:
9:30pm-Show Me the Money 10.2/15(1st place, 57% retention out of an almost 30 million DWTS)
10:00pm-Show Me the Money 8.2/13(2nd place, 20% drop)
10:30pm-Show Me the Money 6.4/11(3rd place, another 22% drop)
37% drop in all.
Yikes.

ABC Pulls Plug on Order for Shatner's Show Me The Money
By Ben Grossman -- Broadcasting & Cable, 12/15/2006 1:01:00 PM
ABC has decided to shut down production and pull the plug on the six additional episodes it recently ordered of the William Shatner-hosted game show, Show Me The Money.
ABC confirmed Friday morning it currently has seven more episodes of the show already in the can, and as of now plans on finishing that run and airing those episodes through January, but has decided against the additional order.

Why that's ... that's ...
SHAT-TASTIC!
No, that's not the word I'm looking for.
I still prefer 'Deal or No Deal".

I could see that coming. That's what happens when you have game shows that only have questions on the media (music, TV, movies, etc). I'm sure William Shater was shattered by the news

.
