Need Help! v170 Motorola phone

I got anew Motorola v170 today.I am trying to charge the battery,but its been a hal hour and it still does not indicate it is charged enough..Whats going on?

Hmmm...it takes a few hours for a full charge if the battery was completely uncharged...at least as far as I know anyhow...

yea takes 2 to 4 hours for the battery to charge

the very first charge is the longest, after that, it will never take more than 2 hours from completely dead.

Thanks guys. I had a Nokia before and it didn't take this long to charge

Indeed, but the Nokia batteries have a tendency to explode

There have been a few cases of exploding Nokia batteries in Europe, so maybe the rest of the world didn't get these 'jihad-o-phones'. Caused some nasty burns to people who experienced it. Nokia fixed it though.
