Sorry for my joke.
You can try to delete temporary internet files, it may make a small difference. Probably AOL is having server trouble, though.

I used to use AOL frequently. Now I just have the free version that I use for an email address that I'm dependent on.
If you call AOL tech support, they'll tell you it's a problem on your computer, which is probably not true. I think AOL has the worst tech support I've ever seen. Every problem is blamed on your computer. Don't even bother calling.
Give it a couple days for AOL to work out any issues. If you're still having a problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling AOL.

i called aol and they told me to look at aol system info. i did and in one block it said 48mb, 100% load. then they told me to type in msconfig in run. i did that and there were 5 checked boxes. they told me to uncheck 1 box and when i did the aol system info then said 48mb, 79% load. its going a little faster now. thanks for the help. is there anything i can do to make it faster?

Tons of things could cause your internet to run slow, including spyware. Try this; go to
http://performance.toast.net/, choose the text test and any of the hosts on the right, and compare your results.

Your problem is your using AOL. I would personally never think of trying out AOL. My advice is switch to avoid...well...AOL.
The problem is that you use A-O-Hell.
Good one.

In the late 1990s when I just got into the Web, I used AOL. Then came high-speed Internet service through our cable TV and telephone provider. Problem solved!
